Because of species diversity and toxicity, petrochemical industry waste water would pollute the surrounding ground water and surface water.The environmental review of design documents was the important basis，because the design drawings was the basis of construction. This paper took a large scale petrol construction project as an example. Through collection and analysis of the design drawings of water supply and drainage system,and the existing problems of the environmental review,we expounded how to improve the importance of environmental supervision in the design review,how to review drawings and the focus of content of design drawings review.
