Abstract:
This article analyzed the ecological environment changes of East Taihu lakeside zone from 1984 to 2015 based on five remote sensing images from Landsat series of satellites, and then discussed the change process and reasons of wet wetland, farmland and construction land. After that, it also got the data of area transformation between natural and artificial wetland. The results showed that the ecological environment of East Taihu lakeside zone changed significantly during the past three decades, which was affected deeply by human activities. After 2010, ecological dredging and other restoration projects improved the natural wetland environment effectively.
