Abstract:
This review mainly describes the background, analysis principle, calculation principle of particle quantity concentration and particle size of single particle inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometry. The method is used to analyze the nanoparticles in surface water and the analysis conditions and influencing factors is explored. Six metal nanoparticles, AgNPs, TiNPs, CuNPs, ZnNPs, CdNPs and PbNPs were measured in this experiment, with particle quantity in the range of 2.00 ×103 to 1.92×106 per milliliter. AgNPs and CdNPs are relatively single and have smaller particle sizes, with an average particle size of 10 and 16 nm. The particle sizes of the other four nanoparticles (TiNPs, CuNPs, ZnNPs and PbNPs) are distributed over a wide range, ranging from 58 to 176, 43 to 75, 90 to 278, and 19 to 136 nm, respectively. The SP-ICP-MS method is more convenient, fast, accurate, and comprehensive than other analytical methods. It can simultaneously obtain information on the particle size, distribution, number and concentration of nanoparticles, as well as the mass concentration of dissolved ions. It can provide a theoretical basis and scientific basis for future in depth research.
