Abstract: |
The seasonal variations of atmospheric fine particle matter (PM2.5) and gaseous pollutants (including SO2, CO, NOxand O3) on mass concentration were analyzed in Suining, Xuzhou, based on the data set of the real time online measurements in full year 2014. Combined with the back trajectories model, the impact of different air masses on the concentration of atmospheric pollutants loading in this region was evaluated. The values of PM2.5 and O3 in summer showed the strong correlation, and presented the lowest concentration, indicating that the PM2.5 in summer was mainly controlled by local atmospheric photochemical activities. During the winter, PM2.5, SO2, CO, NOx showed the highest concentration, except for O3, and the atmospheric aerosol was dominated by the fine particle. O3 in spring showed the highest concentration, and corresponded to the long transport air masses from the developed region of the East China. The high concentration of PM2.5 was mainly corresponding to the slow air masses in winter. This implied that PM2.5 and its gaseous precursors might be transported to this region, which promoted the heavy pollution of air. |
